On June 4th, 2025, we successfully hosted the virtual workshop “From Waste to Resource” as part of the EU Green Week 2025, which this year focused on the themes Clean, Competitive & Circular.
The event, organized by the Agri-Food and Nutrition Cluster of Aragon within the framework of the LIFE CHANDELIER project, brought together over 50 professionals from the agri-food, sustainability and bioeconomy sectors to explore real success stories of European projects that are innovatively converting agri-food residues and by-products into bioenergy and bioproducts.
Throughout the session, we highlighted transformative examples of circular practices that are producing biomethane and high-value products from organic waste—contributing to cleaner transport, more resilient agriculture, and sustainable rural development. The workshop also opened up a space for dialogue about the challenges and opportunities involved in scaling circular models across Europe.
