This project, led by FCC Medio Ambiente and funded by the European Commission, aims to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of capturing and upgrading landfill biogas to produce biomethane suitable for use as vehicle fuel. The pilot plant, located in Granada, Spain, has successfully produced 220 m³/h of high-quality biomethane, used in both light and heavy vehicles, covering more than 71,200 km and avoiding the emission of over 54,300 kg of CO₂.
