La regi\u00f3n de Arag\u00f3n es uno de los mayores productores de productos de oliva, vino y almendras de Europa. Inicialmente, la planta fue dise\u00f1ada con una capacidad de procesamiento total de aproximadamente 133,000 toneladas\/a\u00f1o de residuos ganaderos, de los cuales el pur\u00edn de cerdo representa la gran mayor\u00eda de los residuos entrantes (90%). Desde la reanudaci\u00f3n de la operaci\u00f3n en mayo de 2023, la capacidad actual es de aproximadamente 81,200 toneladas\/a\u00f1o (80,000 toneladas de pur\u00edn de cerdo\/a\u00f1o + 1,200 toneladas de residuos de matadero\/a\u00f1o).
